Not a Store. A Not-for-Profit Wine Society.
Opimian is owned by its members and run for their benefit. No shareholders. No retail markup. Surplus is reinvested in the Cellar, the community, and the society.
A Membership-First Approach to Wine
Opimian is not a retailer. It's a not-for-profit wine society, incorporated to serve its members. A single annual membership unlocks full access — no per-bottle markups, no commercial pressure, no shareholders extracting margin.
Surplus is reinvested where it matters: securing better allocations, hosting member events, and keeping the society sustainable for the next generation of members.
*Plus applicable GST or HST based on your province of residence.
Why Membership, Not Markup
Most wine retail works on margin — the more you buy, the more someone earns. Opimian works on membership — one fee, then wines priced at what they cost to bring to Canada.
Members aren't customers to be upsold. They're the reason the society exists, and their interests are the only interests the society answers to.
